This 14-story tower proposal for Virginia-Highland's Ponce corridor could reshape one of our most walkable neighborhoods forever.

About This Short
Selig Enterprises has announced plans for a 14-story mixed-use tower with 375 residential units and 10,000 square feet of retail space on a 1.75-acre site near Hotel Clermont. The development would replace several beloved low-rise commercial buildings currently home to Java Jive, China Dragon, and the original Honey Bubble Tea location.
This represents a major scale shift for one of Atlanta's most character-driven neighborhoods. Selig is in early community discussions with the Virginia-Highland Civic Association, but no construction timeline has been set. What do you think about this development?
Does it fit the neighborhood character or is it too much density?
