About This Short
Construction is underway near the northern Piedmont Avenue entrance, right by the Active Oval. The Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Monument and Memorial Experience will feature a tribute sculpture, plaza, and commemorative wall honoring 240 Atlanta and Fulton County residents who were lost in action. Atlanta has been the only major U.S. city without its own Vietnam War memorial — until now.
Fundraising is still ongoing through the Sons of Atlanta. If you’d like to purchase a commemorative brick to honor a veteran, prices start at $100 and go up to $1,000 depending on placement and engraving. Piedmont Park, Atlanta GA.
